When I recently moved to a new home, I gave up a lot of storage space so I needed to rent a storage locker for all the extra picture frames and mattes I had accumulated. It must be all those movies and TV shows that have bad things happening in places like this that makes me cringe every time I have to stop here. I'm planning on using up those frames and mattes and donating some of my photos to different charities for their silent auctions and drawings. So, hopefully I won't have to get that creepy feeling every time I step off the elevator to head to my locker for much longer.
We all fear something but should not fear something that is in all in the mind.
ReplyDeleteIt does look rather daunting!
ReplyDeleteYou could of course make this photo into a black and white, frame it and sell it!
ReplyDeleteI understand your feelings; it's not a very warm and welcoming space.
ReplyDeleteThis shot reminds me of that scene in "The Shining" with the kid biking down the hallway.
ReplyDeleteHa! That last comment will not help you overcome the creepy feeling, will it? When you said you rented a storage place, this is not what I had pictured.
ReplyDeleteI like Stefan's idea.
It looks like a prison.
ReplyDeleteBirdman said exactly what I was thinking of when I saw the image.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a row of cells. Think of them as convent cells rather than... ;-)
ReplyDeleteI would be a bit creeped out too, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteSharon, Sharon, it is just a long hallway with lot of doors. Let's stiffen that backbone!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the storage space we had on 7th St and Indian School.
ReplyDeleteIf you meet Jack Nicholson, don't ask for his autograph.
ReplyDeleteAs long as you go there with a headlamp while talking to a friend on your phone...:-)
ReplyDeleteAt least the doors are colorful!
