Sunday was a perfect day for an outdoor art festival so I took full advantage. The Shemer Art Center sponsored the event and it took place on the beautiful grounds surrounding the gallery. There were so many beautiful things to see (and buy) but I restricted myself to one hand-painted silk scarf and a unique ceramic bowl that will reside on my kitchen counter and hold fresh fruit.
Here is a peek at the bowl. I love the urban feel to it.
Nice bowl, you're right about it having an urban feel to it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a piece!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it was a great day to be outside!
ReplyDeleteA good purchase, and the place looks busy!
ReplyDeleteI used to love all the arts festivals in Phoenix.
ReplyDeleteI really like it! It will make a nice fruit bowl, for sure. And you will always remember when/where you got it. :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent choice! I think we all want one now!
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove that bowl.
ReplyDeleteOutside art fairs are held nearly every week down here, and the quality varies widely. After a while we learn which fair managers keep the quality up. (Love your bowl!)
ReplyDeleteLike Ciel de Quimper: such an excellent choice.
