Sitting in the parking lot of a restaurant in north Phoenix is this old Austin slowly disintegrating. It's been sitting in that same parking slot for as long as I can remember.
It makes me wonder if the restaurant owner bought this car with the intention of restoring it or possibly using it as a display for the restaurant but, never got around to getting the job done.
Instead, the elements have taken their toll.

That's a shame, looks like it was once a grand looking car.

ReplyDeletePoor old Austen :) but fantastic find for the theme Sharon!
ReplyDeleteSeems a shame to let the car rust away.
ReplyDeleteIt wont rust away as fast in Phoenix as it would on the coast. Maybe the owner parked it there years ago and is still inside eating.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully captured a great image for the day. I totally forgot theme day. Again!
