It looks like their architect used the exact same layout for each of the townhouses and did not take advantage of the opportunity to add some windows on the side of the end unit. What a missed opportunity.
I agree with Dave. More windows on the side would have been good. But the condos look great in general and I really like your first image with the small house against the large condos.
I respect the fact that some people need to utilize their properties to bring in more money, but whenever I see side lots turned into cheek-to-jowl housing, I am a bit sad.

I guess they couldn't be bought out.
ReplyDeleteNot a bad way to increase your income - if, of course, you can afford to build the condos. I've lived in condos and would prefer the house.
ReplyDeleteI meant to tell you I've always been impressed how well you keep to the theme of CDP, by capturing so many interesting places in Phoenix!
I don't think they go together too well. I'm not sure I'd like living in either house or condo.
ReplyDeleteWe have a big lot but I don't think our Zoning would allow us to do that. It must bring in a good income but I don't think I would like it.
ReplyDeletePersonally I'd prefer living in the house.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the house too! Maybe they plan on more construction and therefore no windows on that side.

ReplyDeleteI don't know that I would like to have something so big next door.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly fill a gap!
ReplyDeleteMust have been a big plot Sharon and I guess it was a good way to earn lots of extra money, like Jack I wouldn't want neighbours quite so close :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Methinks that was not a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that I'd be happy to be surrounded by look-alike condos.
