The revolving restaurant on the top of the Hyatt Hotel in downtown Phoenix looks a bit like a hat. Combine it with one of the downtown street lights and it looks like two hats. One is kind of plain and brown and the other is more "art deco" and colorful. But, they make a good pair in this photo.
Looks fun! Is the food any good?
ReplyDelete-- Walking into the light
Different architecture compared with my home town, nicely composed photo.
ReplyDeleteWow! Competing rotating foodie hangouts. Can you look out one window and into the next? Hey, what's on your plate?
ReplyDeleteI like the flair of the downtown streetlights.
ReplyDeleteThey make great looking 'partners'!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun shot! I like those art deco street lights.
ReplyDeleteNice contrast, and unusual architecture, at least from my experience.
ReplyDeleteI like the perspective in which you took the image. Great shot.

I like the hotel but the street light not so much, Sharon. Like your shot of the two though. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe street lamp is fantastic but is it huge or is it just your perspective? Space Needle street lamp with a Southwestern twist to it! And the restaurant must be great! I enjoyed the TV tower in Berlin that revolves while you have tea, it's a great experience!
ReplyDeleteNice contrast.
ReplyDeleteThose street lights are really cool. Are they new?
ReplyDeleteThe juxtaposition of the two objects are definitely colorful and coordinated! Very Southwest colors.
ReplyDeleteOh what a clever shot Sharon, brilliant composition.. Why did I think of the Jetsons :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and well composed image, Sharon, and top title!
ReplyDeleteWell done, brilliant composition!
