Modern Home
I found this modern home located in central Phoenix not far from where I live in a neighborhood that is composed of mostly older mid-century homes. When I first saw it I thought it might be an office for a business but there was nothing to identify it as an office and that driveway on the right side of it seems to fit a home rather than a business.
Even though it has a decidedly modern look, it still seemed to fit in with the neighborhood.
I loved the striped wall that frames an entrance to the home. It has a very striking look and adds a touch of mystery to the property.
I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today. It's a quick visit to a historic church in Buenos Aires.
Looks like a dentist's office. Home? I'll pass.
ReplyDeleteGosh it really looks like this one might stick out there a bit Sharon, tres modern!
ReplyDeleteThat is very unusual!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly stands out!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge fan of the house but I adore those stripes and the lettering which for some reason makes me think of Bauhaus period!
ReplyDeleteI really like it, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteThis looks pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteI really like this design.
ReplyDeleteIt is not my kind of thing, but within the context of modern homes, it is OK.
ReplyDeleteThe kind of design I like very much and orange is such a good color for Arizona.
ReplyDeleteIt does look very functional.
ReplyDeleteI love contemporary art and architecture. This one is really sleek and bare.
