I put up a photo of Grady Gammage Auditorium today because I was there last night to see a performance of "Jersey Boys" and what a show it was! I thoroughly enjoyed every musical number. It was like taking a step back in time. I haven't seen the movie but, now I just might have to do that.
What a show!
Good musicals are happy experiences, and a very attractive building for it!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting architectural shot...
ReplyDelete-- Zest up your life!
I'm a big musical guy. Would love to see that one. I will too.
ReplyDeleteI loved the 4 Seasons so would love to see this too!
ReplyDeleteNow that's an unusual architectural style Sharon, somehow it does have an Arizona feel to it. Would love to see the show, I heard the film wasn't so good, the critics panned Clint Eastwood's direction.. I wouldn't let it stop me seeing it though, I like to make up my own mind :)
ReplyDeleteAn interesting architecture and a well composed shot.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved that Frank Lloyd Wright building as I do all of his work.
ReplyDeleteThe name, Grady Gammage is a blast from the past...I'm going to have to Google him to see why...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful structure. I know not the Jersey Boys but I'll take your word for the value of their music.
Hope you survived that horrible dust storm. I do remember those. Couldn't see across the street and when it was over there was sand everywhere - in the house!
I've only been to two movies since I've been in Texas but Jersey Boys is on my hope list to see.
ReplyDeleteWas't Gammage auditorium designed by Frank Lloyd Wright?
That's very striking architecture, I like it!
ReplyDeleteThe architecture really appeals to me.
ReplyDeleteI seen many great plays and concerts inside that place. Great memories.
ReplyDeleteI love this theater.
ReplyDeleteWonderful sweeping structure!
ReplyDeleteIsn't Jersey Boys fun? I have seen it twice. I think I will skip the movie.
