We had our first monsoon storm of the season Thursday night with some lightening, some thunder, some rain and a lot of wind. I had dinner at a neighbor's house Thursday night and the walk home was so breezy and cool it was quite refreshing. We haven't had any rain since March so it was much needed.
It all looks very dramatic!
ReplyDeleteBack to normal then I guess. Great sky with the palm trees.
ReplyDeleteNice sky and silhouettes.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful photo of the storm.
ReplyDeleteTomás.
Lol, you should have said! We could have sent you some!
ReplyDeleteLove the moody atmosphere!
Arthur washed out our 4th... we'll try again today. Heading to Scarborough to be with friends.
ReplyDeleteRain will be good for all the plants. I wish it would rain here too, only because of nature. The dry heat is really killing it.

The palm trees look nice with the dramatic sky. We got our first rain Thursday also.
ReplyDeleteWe had a huge and sudden windstorm in Scottsdale on Thursday night.
ReplyDeleteVery dramatic skies, Sharon. One of my blogger friends lives in the Tucson area, and posted about rain as well.
ReplyDeleteWow, awesome sky!
ReplyDeleteOh how I know how exquisite that first rain is Sharon, you must have so enjoyed hat walk home. Hopefully more to follow,
ReplyDeleteLove this pic, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteFabulous photo, Sharon, with those outlined palms agains the variously shaded blue sky. I have always lived in places with plentiful rain (at least, rain in summer in Florida) and can't imagine what it is like to go without rain from March to July.
ReplyDeleteI heard you had another HUGE dust storm!
ReplyDeleteHooray for rain! It must be a wonderful break in the sunny monotony. (Not that sunshine is bad!)
ReplyDeleteNothing like the smell of the desert after a rain.
ReplyDeleteThe trees silhouetted against the sky and the open bright portion work well together.
ReplyDeleteLovely back light!
