I watched these rings in the water for a long time and I couldn't figure out what was causing them. After I downloaded the photo, I zoomed in on the center and could see that is is a moth caught in the water. The movement of the water was a bit mesmerizing.
The theme for July 1st is "Celebrating Summer".

Poor moth! It is a photo with a beautiful water image but my mind is on the perils of the moth instead of the beauty.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of ripples for a little moth to make. I would have wanted to rescue it. It makes an interesting image though.
