Blue Ribbon
I saw this big blue ribbon tied around the bell tower corner at Xavier College Preparatory school yesterday when I was driving by. I can only guess that it was up there for graduation ceremonies but, ti's only a guess. It did catch my eye.
Pabst Blue Ribbon is a beer. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually a nice sight.

Now that they know how to hang a blue ribbon around the tower, they should hang a red one during the holiday season.
ReplyDeleteSounds right to me.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an ornament in occasion to a bigger festivity...
ReplyDeleteNow that is very interesting. Looks nice up there.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a big gift! ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt looks nice. Like you say, probably graduation.
ReplyDeleteIt would have caught my eye too Sharon :) Looks like a very big pressie hey :)
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful. Pity you can't unwrap the pressie!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!
ReplyDeleteAndy suggestion of a beer sounds good. A bit of product placement??
ReplyDeleteIn the 60s there used to be an artist who wrapped up public buildings and called it art; he could have used that ribbon to good effect.
ReplyDeleteLovely find, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteTerrific way to celebrate graduation!
