I have to post my annual tribute to Cinco de Mayo, a Mexican holiday that most Mexicans don't celebrate but, we Americans make it a good excuse to eat Mexican food and drink a Margarita or two.
I enjoyed this yummy Chicken Mole dish at the restaurant inside the Heard Museum recently. Now, what Mexican dish will I come up with tonight?
Happy Cinco de Mayo!

No, the ice-cream wasn't pistachio. There were 4 flavous in that little cup: ricotta+fig (deeeelicious), banana, hazelnut and fior di latte!
ReplyDeleteCan't go wrong with burritos, tamales, Southwest salad, enchaladas, chile relleno — this makes me hungry! The Hispanic community here in West St Paul really live it up on Cinco de Mayo!
ReplyDeleteThis looks good! I'm sure whatever you pick for tonight will be delicious. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt's not something that's been marked much- that I've noticed-north of this border. I've only been hearing of it more recently by following photobloggers.
ReplyDeleteThis does look good.
ReplyDeleteLooks really tasty.
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious, happy Cinco de Mayo!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your meal. I can't tell you how wonderful a Margarita sounds to me!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love chicken mole. I haven't had mole in years. This reminds me I still need to try that Mexican restaurant near Covent Garden that you mentioned!
ReplyDeleteYummy!
