The friendly peach-faced lovebirds who live in my neighborhood are still around and enjoying the food I've been putting out for them. Whenever the feeder is empty, they tend to sit up in the trees and make loud calls to get my attention. They are smart little comedians.
Oh, they are so beautiful; ;just look at the colors on their bodies! Birds are very, very smart and it's a bonus when they add a little humor.
ReplyDeleteThey also knew to give you a nice profile of the their face while displaying the coloration of their tail feathers.
ReplyDeleteIt's so much more fun to have wild ones living in your yard than a lovebird in a cage.
ReplyDeleteOh, they are such cute birds!
ReplyDeleteOh. they are really cute, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pair of beauties, and they clearly like being photographed too!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Are they escaped pets, do you think? Do you have feral populations of these birds around town? Surely they're not native.

ReplyDeleteI'll bet it's really fun to watch them.
