I had to buy new tires last Friday so while I was waiting for the guys at Discount Tires to put them on my car, I took a little walk down the street and saw this sculpture almost hidden in the parking lot of a large jewelers store. It's a playful sculpture with the young boy dropping his bag and jumping on the fence. It looks like that bull dog has him treed or is that "fenced".
Very dynamic looking!
ReplyDeleteThis statue has good vibes. Makes me wish I was a kid allover again.
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonder that the Health & Safety police haven't objected to such reckless behaviour, even from a statue!
ReplyDeleteHe's well and fenced! The little bull dog sure is sure living up to its tenacious reputation:) (How nice the weekend event you attended included discussion of random acts of kindness...so needed in this world!)
ReplyDeleteIt's a guy thing. Something to climb, jump over, crawl under... we are game.
ReplyDeleteIt's a cute sculpture, very playful. I bet it lights up at night.
ReplyDeleteLike this one a lot Sharon.. a touch of whimsy is always a good thing :)
ReplyDeleteI would think such a sculpture is rather unusual sight on a Phoenix street. But I haven't been there for a long time so maybe more culture has accumulated? It's a nice piece and I think "playful" is the right word to describe it.
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteA very nice sculpture, could be a real scene :)
ReplyDeleteThat's great fun, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteI like that one very much, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteWhen you stay alert, it is interesting what can be found!
ReplyDeleteSharon, you find interesting things wherever you go!
ReplyDeleteThat's fun.
ReplyDeleteSuch a real scene!
ReplyDeleteHow cute. I've never noticed this artwork in this rather busy spot. Is it new or am I just unobservant?
