Friday night was Military Appreciation Night at the Phoenix Suns Game. The audience was full of the men and women who serve. It took a very large group of them to roll out this giant flag.
Even the Suns mascot "the Gorilla" was dressed in fatigues. It was a colorful night and a very close game that sadly, we lost.
There's no one more patriotic than Americans. I see it every time I visit the USA.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the place was jammed with people. Sorry y'all lost the game.
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in Andy's comment. The flag is so symbolic at athletic events.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the loss, but still great images of the evening.

A fitting tribute, not just on Memorial Day or Veterans Day. Although they lost Friday, the Suns have been doing much better than expected this season.
ReplyDeleteYou got some cool shots there!
ReplyDeleteGlad you told us that was the mascot... I was gonna say... hahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteWow, pretty impressive flag!
ReplyDeleteGreat images of this event, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteSuper pics, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteThe cacti reminded me of you when I saw them in the greenhouse.
You'd have to wonder about that mascot!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the Gorilla.
ReplyDeleteI like the flag photo. It has been a very long time since I have been to an NBA game, now that I don't live in an NBA city.
ReplyDeleteFirst shot is a really good image Sharon, bet your team wins its next game :)
ReplyDeleteWell attended and appreciated!
