I'm starting to see trees turning colors here in the desert southwest. The fall colors start arriving here after the beginning of winter and when the leaves on trees in northern states are long gone.
I spotted this tree when I looked down a street and saw a burst of color among all the green in this neighborhood.
Much better than the scenery we are getting here. Enjoy the colours while you can before some wacky weather passes through.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours, after the winds we had last night and this morning I'll be surprised if we have any trees left!
ReplyDeleteNice bit of color, we don't have that at the moment, very gray now.
ReplyDeleteI find this color incredible as we are surrounded by white here in the Midwest. Must keep up your spirits during the long winter months.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteA bit of Maine of 3 months ago.
ReplyDeleteThat happens here, too, but that first photo is glorious. The light is outstanding! You certainly have a photographer's eye!
ReplyDeleteAs soon as those leaves fall off the new buds will start to appear and then new leaves. Your trees don't have much time to rest. Our leaves were all fallen in the first part of November.
ReplyDeleteEverything is white and silvery here from ice and snow so it is nice to see some colour, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteGreat color.
ReplyDeleteGosh, this is beautiful, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteReally a standout with the green around it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colour Sharon.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Sharon, particularly that first one.
