I went to the garden yesterday to go for a walk and I happened to be there when the cleaning crew was out dusting off the Chihuly sculptures. It's crazy busy at the garden right now with the holidays in full swing and lots of out-of-town visitors here. By the time I left it was so crowded that it was getting hard to maneuver among the crowds. I'm glad went early.

Looks like a dangerous occupation that
That has to be tedious job but the two ladies look dedicated.
Wouldn't want to get too close to those spikes when cleaning them!
This is a fun photo.
I do envy you, Sharon, in your ability to visit this magical place as often as you do. What a job this is! Can you imagine how one would feel if part of the glass sculpture was damaged!!
Fantastic piece! Not easy to clean the dust, I bet.
I dust! I hate it! It's a royal pain in the ass!
I had never thought about how they keep them clean. It doesn't look easy.
Fabulous!
I suppose it takes a lot of work to clean this sculpture...
I think I'd rather have a spiked drink than try to clean this beauty!
We've been overrun with people, too. Just about every other car has an "out-of-state" license and many of them with Florida plates live here for a few months in the winter. It's insane; reminds me of Houston or Miami! Maybe we should move to Prescott? Or Jerome? :)
I wouldn't want to have to do that job!
Wow! I would think that would be a very nerve-wracking job.
One sneeze and hundreds of thousands of dollars go down the drain!
I would not want that job.
Oh la! I'll never complain about dusting again Sharon :)
I can see that job being tiring!
I like the colour of this sculpture.
It is pretty and it is BLUE.
