Yesterday I went to the Tempe Arts Festival, an event that takes place each December and March in downtown Tempe. It's a huge arts festival with hundreds of vendors selling amazing art works, photography, jewelry, pottery, and much, much more.
There was some street chalk art being created.
And there was plenty of pretty things to look at and buy.
Tomorrow I'll show you some of the entertainment that was going on.

Great place to pick up some unique Christmas gifts!
Sounds like a good place to spend a few hours
There must be myriad choices available; looks good! I cannot fathom Christmas without snow, though.
And you topped off the day with Evita at Gammage Auditorium on the ASU campus last evening. Quite a day.
Looks like fun
I love going to this, but missed it this year. It looks like another wonderful event.
This a great art fair and I love to see what the chalk artist have produced each year.
I know I would enjoy this event Sharon, did you manage to resist temptation :)
Looks a bit cool there, Sharon! Good weather for walking around and viewing the art.
We have similar events here, but in the summer, when the weather allows for it!
Love the artwork and all art festivals - street chalk creations are fascinating, an unusual combo of talent and speed. (Oh lucky you to have seen Evita, regardless of the lead singer's pipes, I always thought it would be great to see Peron's story via musical!)
Looks like a great event I would like to participate in this festival.
I wish I'd gone. Looks like fun.
Was there a big Cheesecake on a Stick tent? I always visited twice.
I love outdoor art festivals like this. They start in January down here.
I always loved going to the Tempe Arts Festival. Then the parking just got so outrageously difficult, but now I understand you can take the light rail right down to Mill Ave. Can't wait until I have a chance to attend again.
