Shades of Blue
This Chihuly sculpture is done in different shades of blue. It makes me think of watching waves roll into the shore with dark blue in the distance and foamy white as it rolls up the shoreline.
I would love to see these sculptures in situ here in an Arizona botanical garden.. Really enjoying this series Sharon, magical creations, Chihuly is mega talented.
One's imagination can run wild when viewing Chihuly's glass sculptures. What genius!
ReplyDeleteNice shot of this. Such a beautiful shade of blue.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours and very intricate looking.
ReplyDeleteYou are right about the waves. Now, how does that go with the desert flora?
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I bet you will be going there again soon. It should be very pleasant weather for a walk around the DBG.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, looks like a friendly alien :-)
ReplyDeleteIt reminds of an octopus going wild! ;-))
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how much time was spent creating this piece.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun seeing your blue curlycues and Julie's straight clear spikes on the same day.
ReplyDeleteLooking amazing sculpture!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what it reminds me of but I think it's fabulous!
