Here is another sculpture from the sculpture garden at the Heard Museum. This one is called "Gratitude". The artist, Retha Walden Gambaro said
"Every day, we have a reason, or many reasons, to feel and express our gratitude". This garden would be such a great place to sit for a while and soak up the peace and quiet.
Bats!
ReplyDeleteIt's a very uplifting looking sculpture!
ReplyDeleteLike you photo yesterday, they seem to have planned a background for the sculpture placements to provide contrast to the sculptures.
ReplyDeleteDon't you love places like this?! Beautiful simplicity!!
ReplyDeleteNot sure about this sculpture but I can certainly understand the desire to have a place to sit and meditate...
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful composition, Sharon, with two nice sculptures, one made by the nature and one made by an artist.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Karl, you shot two very fitting sculptures. Great composition, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot again, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteWe all would be happier if we had an attitude of gratitude.
ReplyDeleteIt's like an echo.
ReplyDeleteThis sculpture might not be on my favorites list, but the quiet space it occupies is lovely.
ReplyDeleteNice wordings. Sculpture looks different..
ReplyDeleteRetha is right Sharon, sometimes we do forget to be grateful for what we have!
ReplyDeleteThe one I like the most is "attitude of prayer" by Gambaro but I don't know if it is still there. A woman bending over a leaf in her hands.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful and so full of feelings.
