Hidden behind one of the buildings in the Goldfield Ghost Town was this bright red truck with the back decked out as a fire truck. I added the painting effect myself.
I also noticed among the tourists enjoying the surroundings, this guy in the skirt....err....kilt. A truly interesting fashion statement for Arizona.
Love the paint job effect, and the kilt is one way to keep cool I suppose!
ReplyDeleteA wool skirt in Phoenix when it is more than 100 degrees seams a little out of season.
ReplyDeleteI really like that effect Sharon ....can't do It with Picasa..I do love a man in a kilt :))
ReplyDeleteInteresting editing in the first one. Lovely truck as well.

That truck is a good subject for the painting effect.
ReplyDeleteA man in a kilt is something you don't see every day around here.
I guess the kilt is not made of wool. Clever choice to walk in the desert! :-) I like that truck and the effects on the shot too.
ReplyDeleteI like that man in the kilt :)
ReplyDeleteLove the painting effect. Maybe if that is a cotton kilt it would be rather cool & breezy!
ReplyDeleteI was about to compliment the painter until I read your text! Nice job.
ReplyDeleteEvery community needs a red fire truck
ReplyDeleteYour photo of the red truck and the painting effect are superb! And, oh? is there a man in a kilt in the second photo. He is probably on the left. I didn't get that far.
ReplyDeleteLove that red truck. Nice effect. Brave soul in a skirt.
ReplyDeleteNice painting job and of course a kilt is good for air circulation.
ReplyDeleteLOL -- do you think he's Scottish, or just eccentric?
ReplyDelete(I have a blog pal in Montana who bought a kilt for himself, but he wrote about how he'd never been able to wear it. Apparently they're kind of a "thing" in the Pacific Northwest?)
Looks like an old Ford. Nice effect. It adds some pizazz to the photo! The guy wearing the kilt kills me!
