Many, many, many, many arms

Another interesting thing I found on the slopes of South Mountain was this saguaro cactus burdened with an abundance of arms.  The cactus is located in someone's yard and there was no way for me to get a photo without those wires.  So, it's not the prettiest shot but, at least I get to show you this oddity.

Why do I feel that this cactus is giving me the finger? :)

If this were a regular tree, someone would have pruned off some of the branches to thin it out, but of course there is no such thing as trimming a saguaro.

Andy's and Bruce's comments are pretty funny. The cactus reminds me of several of the Hindu god and goddesses with multiple arms.

The number of arms must be one for the record book.
