The Federal Building in downtown Phoenix appears to be caught in a time warp.
Has anyone seen a DeLorean hanging around?
(I decided I needed to make a clarification, my DeLorean reference above is about the 1985 movie "Back to the Future" where a DeLorean is turned into a time machine.)
I had to google a DeLorean Sharon..I learn something new everyday here in blog world:))
ReplyDeleteVery 'Life on Mars'!
ReplyDeleteI did have to do like PDP did... and read only the part of DeLorean"s Arrest and trial. Wow what a life story!
ReplyDeleteInteresting that the powers-that-be haven't corrected it or added dates. Must be Republicans.
ReplyDeleteIn some ways those were the good ol' days. In other ways, they were the bad ol' days. Nice-looking courthouse, though. I mean, really, what are you going to do with a courthouse (unless you live in Europe--they know how to build these kinds of structures.
ReplyDeleteThe DeLorean never did gain much traction. Didn't Mr. DeLorean die recently?
You have a nephew that spends a lot of time there testifying, I think.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the building was built in 1959.
I'm a big fan of the "Back to Future" movies so was familiar with the DeLorean reference.
ReplyDeleteThe building, both inside and outside, has all the ambiance of a 1950's government building.
ReplyDeletePhoenix needed a new federal Courthouse, which was built about a decade or so ago, and it makes an architectural statement.
Love the movie and the car! ;-)
ReplyDeleteNo sign of the Doc then?
ReplyDeleteAsk Dr Who
ReplyDeleteOldie but a goodie.
ReplyDeleteDDE is proving to be quite a president, in historical perspective. But then so is W. Whaddaya gonna do?
ReplyDeleteI hope they never change the plaque. :)
