Overgrown garden
This gate appears to lead to a garden but I dare say, the garden is looking a bit bedraggled. Still, there was something about the gate that did make me stop and take a peek inside.
The rusty old gate sits perfectly between the whitewashed walls!
ReplyDeleteI would have peeked through too...
ReplyDeleteI like those patchy walls.
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, in regard to your question, I believe you're remembering Fool on the Hill, in Taftville, Vermont. Hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice, artsy shot what with the rusted gate hinting at a neglected garden.
ReplyDeleteI hate to set out to trim the garden within. Not in that heat.
ReplyDeleteSometimes an overgrown garden can be a beautiful too, especially with that pretty gate and wall.
ReplyDeleteIt is a rather intriguing gate & wall, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteLove this shot. Probably lots of critters living in that untamed garden.
ReplyDeleteOld rusted gates are intriguing, I would also peek through.
ReplyDeleteI love this mysterious gate........Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
ReplyDeleteNice wall!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Randy that the wall is lovely (like Santa Fe) but the view leaves something to be desired. Could use some hollyhocks outside as well.
ReplyDelete"Bedraggled" is such a kind word to use.
