Overgrown garden

This gate appears to lead to a garden but I dare say, the garden is looking a bit bedraggled.  Still, there was something about the gate that did make me stop and take a peek inside.

The rusty old gate sits perfectly between the whitewashed walls!

I like those patchy walls.

Hi Sharon, in regard to your question, I believe you're remembering Fool on the Hill, in Taftville, Vermont. Hope this helps.

It's a nice, artsy shot what with the rusted gate hinting at a neglected garden.

I hate to set out to trim the garden within. Not in that heat.

Sometimes an overgrown garden can be a beautiful too, especially with that pretty gate and wall.

It is a rather intriguing gate & wall, Sharon!

Love this shot. Probably lots of critters living in that untamed garden.

Nice wall!

I agree with Randy that the wall is lovely (like Santa Fe) but the view leaves something to be desired. Could use some hollyhocks outside as well.

"Bedraggled" is such a kind word to use.
