If you happen to be in the market for a desert retreat, this house in Carefree is for sale. It certainly sits in a boulder-rich location and I'll bet the views from that patio are extra nice.
Sharon's Sojourns has a little blast from the past on that site today.
I hope you can join other City Daily Photo bloggers on September 1st for the theme day! The September theme is "Pink".
A perfect looking retreat, I imagine it doesn't come cheap though?!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is lovely with fantastic views. I however would hate to live in an are named "Carefree." The same feeling I had when we lived on a street called Bittersweet Lane!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. What a fabulous location! I'll take the house. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe outline of the house mimics the mountain, wonder if that was the plan ! What a unique location, excellent capture Sharon.
ReplyDeleteNow that's an unusual pčace to live in. And oddly very inviting.

I bet it involves a lot of $$$ to buy that house!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo of this nice place, Sharon, very inviting. But I think it's nothing for me.... and my wallet...
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely desert artist retreat! Thank you, Mary Helen
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sharon but this is not the house for me.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your comment about my portraits. I enjoy taking them, especially with my new "nifty fifty" (i.e., a 50mm prime lens). Some days I don't feel like walking up to strangers, but others days it just works out! Tomorrow is another portrait collection.
Interesting contrast to those beautiful rock formations.
ReplyDeleteThe house blends into the rocks. Like the dogs, the Portugese have a breed called water spaniels which look similar.
ReplyDeleteHow much is it listed for, do you know? (Not that I'm interested!)
ReplyDeleteI'll take it.
