I thought I'd post an update on the dome on top of a church under construction that I posted last year. You can see the original post
here. You can also see my artistic take on the dome
here. The church is still under construction but I recently noticed this opening on the dome featuring stained glass windows. I haven't seen it lit up yet but, it looks like it will be very attractive. I'll be sure to get a photo of it once they light it up.
Will be interesting to see inside once completed.
ReplyDeleteVery unusual, love your artistic take on it too!
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see the three different stages of building this dome, which, incidentally, is much different than the one our taxpayers are balking over with city officials and the Vikings football teams owners.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your artistic take Sharon :) doesn't the stained glass look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like an observatory.
ReplyDeleteVery cool composition!
ReplyDeleteI would be willing to bet those stained-glass windows will be spectacular from inside! Maybe we'll get to see them?
ReplyDeleteI think you need to go inside and take a picture of the glass lit by the sun. This is quite interesting.
ReplyDeleteI think it will be spectacular inside!
ReplyDeleteMore like a planetarium.
ReplyDeleteLike the idea of placing the stained glasses.
Sheesh! A church? I thought this was going to be a planetarium story.
ReplyDeleteWow, looks more like a roof of a Tech center of a space station rather than a church.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot
My mother taught me that If I can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all . . .
ReplyDeletelooks cool!
ReplyDeleteI agree with JM. Interesting dome.
