This wall on the outside of the Tempe Center for the Arts has become a popular backdrop for many photographers. Almost every time I find myself here, there is a photographer shooting a portrait in front of this wall. The color and the interesting and colorful lucite dots make a great background for portraits. Those lucite dots are lit from behind so I keep thinking that I need to get here after dark and take a shot of the wall.
It looks like this was made for photography! Wish we had one in Ocala! And yes, I think a night shot would be just the thing! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cool image! Please go back there at night. :-)
ReplyDeleteI can see why its popular as a backdrop Sharon, and even the wall itself has a lovely blue sky background :)
ReplyDeleteP.s. next time you're in a club with a piano, you should have a wee tinkle on the ivories to see if you still have 'the touch'..
This would make a dramatic backdrop. Do go back at night but also a nice portrait of someone would be in order too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful wall! You definitely need to get back there after dark.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful composition, no wonder it's so popular!
ReplyDeleteI was at an outdoor wedding on that patio. The block is actually a fire pit. There's one on the other side near the reflecting pool. It's a beautiful space.
ReplyDeleteI can see why its used so much. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool looking place and perfect for photos. Hurry! Get an evening shot, too/
