Out with the old, in with the new
Way back in 2009, I posted a photo of the outside of Sophie's Bistro a favorite restaurant of mine. Last year, Sophie's closed and the space was purchased by a chef, Kevin Binkley who has a renowned restaurant called Binkley's in Cave Creek Arizona north of Phoenix. The new place opened earlier this year under the name of Bink's. Last week I met a friend there for lunch and had a very tasty meal with excellent service.
While I had a wonderful salad.....
....my friend Janet had a very tasty burger (she let me have a bite) and homemade chips (she let me have lots).
If my favorite restaurant had to close, it's nice to know that it was replaced by something interesting. I'll be back for sure.
The salad looks tempting
ReplyDeleteLooks good!
ReplyDeleteummmm, que hambre...muy buenas fotos...un saludo desde Murcia...
ReplyDeleteYum! Gosh you were good Sharon, I have a feeling I might have been tempted by your friend's meal :) looks like the kind if place you could make a regular for sure.
ReplyDeleteI am not in Phoenix....my beloved brother Larry had a massive coronary on Saturday and ...well my life has come to a standstill. I will meet you lovely lady some day in the future ...you will never know how much I looked forward to your daily posts and the beauty in the desert. I am heading to IN for the arrangements and hopefully will reconnect with you when I come home. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
ReplyDeleteThis place looks quite classy for hamburgers and chips. That salad is delectable! Great find. Hope the place does well.
ReplyDeleteI love potato chips but your salad looks great!
ReplyDeleteI'm having problems commenting today so I hope this only comes up once!
