I found this bicycle parked at a downtown bike rack and it caught my eye. It says "Pink Scurvy Cruiser" on that back bar and "Paul Frank" on the front. I looked that up on the internet and sure enough, there is a bicycle brand called a Paul Frank Pink Scurvy Cruiser and they run around $500.00. Quite a fancy bike, I hope it's securely locked to that bike rack.
A $500 bike parked outside downtown. I hope the owner also invested in a good lock.
ReplyDeleteWhen I had a $300 motorcycle when I was in college, I had about a two foot length of anchor chain and a large lock in order to park it in downtown Washington D.C.
Autsch....
ReplyDeleteReal men can ride Pink!
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be well locked to the bike rack. :-)
ReplyDelete$500? This looks like a $69 Walmart special. Lois had a pink bike once. Not for me, though. I like manly grays and blacks and perhaps reds. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I would pay $500. for that bike. Looks a bit heavy, but it does have a pretty good solid lock on it. Good for you for looking it up!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't have that 'vintage' look Sharon...more racer sturdy :)
ReplyDeleteYou're right, expensive thing to leave lying around!
ReplyDeleteIf it was here the front wheel and seat would need to be locked too!
ReplyDeleteI won't quibble. Good for the owner, riding into town.
ReplyDeleteThat's some cruiser.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing that comes to my mind is Mary Kay.
ReplyDeleteAh, bike weather!!
