Conversation with Myself
I found this interesting sculpture in courtyard in the Scottsdale gallery district. It's called "Conversation with Myself" by Lorri Acott. I have conversations with myself all the time and now that I think about it, they do look a little like this!
Dav's question is the same as mine: are you the giver os sage advice or the receiver. This kind of art is delightful, and if taken seriously, could create some reflection and soul-searching.
Very interesting, and probably very accurate too!
ReplyDeleteVery impressive sculpture. It makes feel better that I am not the only one that talks to myself.
ReplyDeleteMyselves are closer to the same height.
ReplyDeleteIn your conversations with yourself, are you the large figure on the left or the small figure that looks like it is doing more listening than talking.
ReplyDeleteFascinating. And I like it.

ReplyDeleteI am the one listening to the sound advice.
ReplyDeleteThis one gave me a smile. Very clever. I imagine your advice is sage.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I always wonder who that big person is that is always lecturing me in my head.
ReplyDeleteI like it!
ReplyDeleteFantastic sculpture Sharon. I always say it's quite alright to talk to yourself..as long as you don't answer haha!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting piece.
ReplyDeleteOh, I like this sculpture!
ReplyDeleteThis is a sweet sculpture!!! I love the imaginary conversation! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
ReplyDeleteI don't think I look anything like that when I'm muttering to myself! I look much worse!
ReplyDeleteI love this one and the title.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great and funny idea!
