The Poinsettia Tree is a holiday tradition at the Biltmore Fashion Square Shopping Center. This year I used a feature on my new camera to isolate only the red in the photo and keep the rest in black and white. I was surprised at all the red that I hadn't noticed when I took the shot. Even those two shoppers on the left both have red shirts on.
Happy Birthday to my nephew Brian! Have a great day!
It's a very effective effect, great looking tree... and photo!
ReplyDeleteThose two shoppers with red shirts must be Cardinals fans who stopped watching the game last Sunday and went shopping at halftime, when the Cardinals were already behind 38-0..
ReplyDeleteHow did the Cardinals EVER beat the Pats back in September... oh, I digress. RED is pretty striking!
ReplyDeleteLove it! All the red and the tree! It's fun to play!
ReplyDeleteThe tree, ornaments, and shoppers' shirt make a fun photo. I should use that feature more often, too.
ReplyDeleteVery festive and also fun to do!
ReplyDeletePretty image, Sharon. Good use of this interesting feature.
ReplyDeleteI remember this tree from last year's pic. Love your red effect.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree!!!!!!!!!! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Phoenix Christmas tradition. Nice feature on your camera.
ReplyDeletePretty!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Brian!
Such a nice picture! Just enough for me not to be too nostalgic...:-)
ReplyDeleteThat is an interesting feature. I think my camera has this feature, too, but I have not explored it.
ReplyDeleteThe poinsettia tree is terrific. I'm glad I don't have to water it.
Looks fantastic Sharon, what a fab feature, will have to check and see if my camera has it..I hope so!
ReplyDeleteVery very pretty... I have to check my camera too!
