Theme Day: Water's Edge

Since Arizona is sort of land-locked, and we don't really have that many "waters edge" places to visit, I decided to head to one of my favorite parks in Phoenix, Arizona Falls.  If you don't remember this place, you can see my original post from a couple of years ago here.  It's a park where one of our major canals adjusts it's elevation at a power station full of waterfalls that help to generate electricity that ends up going into the grid of electricity used by the city.  I took this photo to show the "edges" of the two large waterfalls that face each other.  So, it truly is the 'edge of water'.

  1. Would you please link your post to the Theme Day page on the City Daily Photo portal at http://citydailyphoto.org/index.html
Unlike the previous portal, this one does not automatically link you, but requires you to go in and enter your own details into a Linky. If you enter anything incorrectly, I will come through and fix it up for you.

  22. That is so cool. We're sort of land-locked here in Indiana as well, so I thought that the typical 'water's edge' photo would be, well, typical, and tried for something different, too. I've tried to get a shot of a couple fountains and "waterfalls" here, without the look I want. So pleased to see someone who did manage their's.
