I see these types of stickers pasted on the back of road signs all the time but, only recently took a look at them. I was waiting for a friend to meet me at a movie theatre and spotted these two stickers. Priority Mail and Plastic Fangs....I have no idea the purpose but, I've decided they would make good names for rock or punk bands. What do you think?
This seems to have commercialized and mass marketed the concept of graffiti. At least it is on the back of the signs. Who looks at the back of signs? Well, I guess you do.
ReplyDeleteIt is a type of graffiti. I saw a documentary on Netflix about graffiti artists. It was amazing and it mentioned these types of decals. I'll try and find the name.
ReplyDeleteWe have some of those decal graffiti around here too. I don't know what it means either.
ReplyDeleteVery unusual, I'll watch for these. Bought some shoes in Barcelona which had graffiti on by Bansky(sp.?)
ReplyDeleteOh that looks absolutely wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI often wonder how people think of their names for bands!
ReplyDeleteI look at those whenever I see them too. The blue one is interesting.
ReplyDeleteI give up. Your observations remind me of two very different things. One is that I saw an unusual poster a few days ago. I will post it one day when nothing better comes to mind, but I have no idea what it is about. And, last night I went to a concert venue, whose act tonight is Toad the Wet Sprocket. We live in a weird world, don't we?
