Last Sunday several friends got together for a fabulous dinner at Julie & Dave's house. (You know them as
Scottsdale Daily Photo and
Tamarindo Costa Rica Daily Photo.) Julie & Dave welcomed their guests with a glass of bubbly Prosecco so I took the opportunity to snap a few shots of the glasses being filled. I think it's a perfect way to start a meal with good friends.
The stem of each glass looks pretty interesting!
ReplyDeletePretty posh. I usually just get invited to parties where they serve BBQ and beer!
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming and for helping to cook. In answer to your question yesterday on Julie's site, yes, the Prosecco that we served on Sunday was purchased on Saturday at the Desert Botanical Garden Corks and Cactus event.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, Julie's site today has a photo of the same Prosecco being served at the Desert Botanical Garden event.
Dave told me what I'd find today on Phoenix Daily Photo. Wonderful memories of lunch at the Chevre d'Or in Eze village. Cheers! Looks like you had a great evening, Sharon x
ReplyDeleteBeautifully elegant image Sharon, the champagne glasses are divine!

I agree with Kate, that is some interesting stemware.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Shot with lots of sparkle!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flutes! A great way to celebrate.
