Pierre

This building started it's life as an apartment complex in 1961 but, after a major remodel in 2007 it has now been converted to condominiums.  At the height of the real estate boom, these condos were selling for around $300,000.  You can now pick one up for less than one third of that price. I like the 1960's look of this building.  For some reason this building makes me think of "Charlies Angels".  Anybody else get that vibe?

  2. I used to live on the next street over at the Phoenix Apts when I was younger. I loved them because of the 60's style interior.

  5. I hadn't thought of Charlie's Angels, but you could be right. I rather like it but then I spent 10 years in the 60s. :-)

  8. Some very unhappy early buyers of those units. Charlie's angels? Yes, there is something about it, but I can't come up with a mental image. I even used Google images and didn't see a similar building. Another failure of memory.
