In focus...Out of focus
These two butterflies were sitting on the same plant in different locations. Since I was using a telephoto lens, I could only get one in focus at a time. I think it makes and interesting shot this way.
It is a gorgeous shot! Isn't it amazing how close things can be but not fall into the same focus area? I said that weird, but I'm sure you've figured out I say a lot of things weird by now and understand me completely. :)
I really like the colors in this one.
ReplyDeleteMonarchs? So pretty. This is creative photography and nicely done!
ReplyDeleteit certainly does make an interesting shot. Well done!
ReplyDelete... and that blurred green background adds a lot for me.
ReplyDeletepoetic
ReplyDeleteKind of dreamy looking.
ReplyDeleteI really like the marbled background to highlight the butterfly's lines and colors.
ReplyDeleteI agree Sharon, the contrast between the pair of butterflies and the blurred background make a marvelous image.
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous shot.
ReplyDeletei just learned about a new butterfly park this week but I have forgotten the details. Bit daft of me as I know you would be interested.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. This effect focuses your viewers on the top butterfly instead of having us bounce from one to another and back again.
