Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
Ours feel that summer is almost over and fly slow and lost looking for flowers; one stung me, but it was a third of usual midsummer passion and pain)). Summer goodbye. Great image, I like the colors so much.
Preciosas imagenes. Un beso desde Murcia.
Wonderful colours.
Amazing. Fantastic colors, too. These are busy bees. But I can't seem to locate those "bees knees" that people talk about! ;)
That photo is pretty sweet too!
Yikes! That's a lot of buzzing. What's the buzz?
Did you use a telephoto lens for this one? I wouldn't want to get too close to all those bees. Nice catch though.
Yes, it was a telephoto. I don't think I'd chance a macro lens that close to cactus or bees.
Wow. I don't think I have seen that many bees except around a beehive.
A feeding frenzy!
Just as well not to get too close. If the bees don't get you the cactus certainly will.
Looks like a bee buffet.
I'm just a little bit nervous now . . . I don't like lightning, heights or bees.
That cactus is playing host to a whole bevy of bees!
The exotic flowers on this cactus must be like honey pots Sharon, wonderful macros.
Lovely, lovely!
Now, that's a gorgeous shot, Sharon! I'm still waiting for my big barrel cactus to bloom...
