This house is on the lower slope of Camelback Mountain and when I saw that ornate entrance arch, I decided to snap a photo. You can also see those monsoon clouds starting to build up in the east. They will be pushing their way over Phoenix as the evening progresses.
And, of course, in Phoenix they would never have to shovel snow off that steep driveway.
ReplyDeleteIt must have a great view.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the views are forever.
ReplyDeletethat's just yummy. Looks like some Mediterranean castle! Not cheap, I'll bet.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful home and a view as well.
ReplyDeleteTo each his own. Nice view I bet.
ReplyDeleteThat is a grand staircase leading up to that fancy arch. Quite and interesting design.
ReplyDeleteA very remarkable design. Love the comment about "monsoon clouds" Doesn't exactly fit my definition of "monsoon."
ReplyDeleteToo fancy for me.
ReplyDeleteI bet the porch around this house keeps it a lot cooler in the heat. We always used to have all around porches in Africa.
ReplyDeleteI do appreciate that this isn't one of the cookie cutter type houses we have so many of in the Valley.
ReplyDeleteMy mother taught me that if I can't say anything nice, I should say nothing at all. Bye.
