I posted a photo of this building four years ago in
August of 2008. I drove by it again yesterday and noticed it has a new tenant and a new look. I like the green trim very much but, I do miss all those large cactus that were popping out along the walk ways on the upper floors. Click the link above to see the original photo.
I agree, Sharon, the cacti looked just great there.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the current color to the starkness of the white color of years ago. Walking past this building would not be very pedestrian-friendly. It seems somewhat like a fortress.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks like a parking garage. Even the trees with the planed-off tops are rather stark.
ReplyDeleteI like the original look best.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. Perhaps the new tenant will do some additional decorating to provide some contrast to the ultra-modern look. It's a nice building, though.
ReplyDeleteVery well composed picture!
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference! Thanks for sharing both shots.
ReplyDeleteSlicker but I miss the personal touch with the cactuses...
ReplyDeleteyes, the cactuses are needed. otherwise it looks too sterile.
ReplyDeleteNeed the cacti, it is in AZ after all.
ReplyDeleteI like the green but the cacti would go wonderfully with it so it needs them too!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kathy about the parking garage. I like this color better but you are right, it needs the extra touch.
ReplyDeleteyes, very different and I, too, would miss the cacti.
ReplyDeleteCrisp... that's the word that comes to mind...
ReplyDeleteI like the green trim also Sharon, it certainly looks very streamlined and efficient now, I wonder who the new occupant is?
