Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
Not sure what kind they are but they do look cute.
crossing the road...i quail at the thought.
Great capture of the babies. They do not stay still, so you did well to get your close photos. We have to be careful driving around our neighborhood, as the quail have a habit of scurrying across the road in front of cars.
I love to see quail and the chicks make this a rare shot. The quail here are very camera shy. Nice capture!
Oh and I do like that Mama has worn her best 'feather fascinator'!!
Oh super sweet! love it!
Great capture!
Hilarious!
Soo cute! Love the mama's headpiece too.
So precious. You almost want to give them a helping hand over the rocks.
Darling, I never knew quails to be out in the road and usually quite shy, must be the desert sun!
She has her hands full.
They are SO cute!!!
This is just lovely, Sharon! What a wonderful spotting.
They sort of climbed over each other, too, as they climbed over the rocks. Very nice photos...Is that bird some kind of partridge or a pigeon with a hood?
Okay, I should read the comments before I ask some dumb question. I'll rail at myself while I quail at the thought ....
lovely things:)
