Adjacent to Bisbee Arizona is town called Lowell that is withering away on the edge of the copper pit I featured yesterday. It is sometimes referred to as a ghost town and it’s true that most of the stores are empty with a variety of out of date items on display as evidenced by these photos. I’ve heard that a few low budget movies were filmed here and I must admit it is prime location for that type of activity. I’ll have a couple more photos from Lowell to show you tomorrow.
Your second picture is pretty good so I could read what it was! I could never have guessed... and never tried one.

ReplyDeleteI maxed the photo and was able to read the lettering. I think I'd rather use my own power to accomplish what that machine might do. Looks almost lethal!
I've only seen them on TV but I agree with Kate. I'd rather walk it off. There is so much potential for that part of town with those wonderful old buildings.
