A view of the high-rise office buildings along Central Avenue in the mid-town business area of Phoenix. This is my neighborhood and I love seeing those buildings from my back yard. I said they were all office buildings but, I must correct myself. That one way down on the end is the One Lexington condo building that I've featured on this site many times before.
wow amazing photos! Love the colours!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really pretty area.
ReplyDeleteI am so surprised to see the tall buildings in Phoenix. I was last there in 1953. You might be able to find some picture books of downtown Phoenix from that era but there were no buildings this tall. It was a little, peaceful, desert, oasis with lots of adobe walls.
ReplyDeleteGreat city shot!
ReplyDeleteI always find it fascinating to see other cityscapes, Phoenix is looking good Sharon.
ReplyDeleteLove the high-rise buildings with the palm trees.
ReplyDeleteI've never been an urban dweller, but I think it has it's own special appeal.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! I always wonder how you manage to get these city shots with no traffic.
ReplyDeleteA rather impressive array of hi-risers.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of this beautiful area!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot and angle!
ReplyDeleteWonderful perspective Sharon! Somehow I missed yesterday's motel shot. I like that place - so tidy!
ReplyDeleteI always loved Central Avenue and you've shown me in brilliant detail why that was so. I worked in a small office building on the east side of the street, not far south of Camelback. (Went to ASU at night)
ReplyDeleteThere is so much to see in this photo, nice view in your neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteWow, it's so green already.
ReplyDeleteYou are a REAL urban dweller, Sharon. Do you walk to work? My last year in Columbus, I lived in an apartment that was two blocks from my office. The view from my apartment's living room window was the sign from my company's building. It was very convenient but might have carried company spirit a bit too far . . .
