Art in a Tent

Yesterday I told you about the Celebration of Fine Arts located in the big white tents in Scottsdale.  Today I'm showing a photo of one of the "rooms' in the tent.  Right there in front is the wonderful paintings of Sue Averell an artist from the San Francisco area.  In fact, I first met her there when I was working in the city.  She does incredible cityscapes on a large and small scale.  You can see more of Sue's work if you click here.

  1. Sue Averell seems to be a talented artist even if the kind of painting she does is not my cup of tea.

  7. That's quite a roomy and classy tent. The artist's paintings are quite large. Perhaps too big for the average home? Wonder who buys her work?

  9. It sure isn't like any tent I used to pitch, this one is like a house!

  10. She is very talented. I like the one of the flower. It must have been fun wandering around in that big tent.

  11. Love that cityscape. Those are very thick canvas walls on the tent.

  12. This tent event looks amazing. Phoenix seems to have a thriving arts community -- both artists and collectors.
