Interesting Proposition

I saw this guy on a recent light rail trip.  He has an interesting offer to make but, I think I'd want some references.  His definition of "remodel" might not be the same as mine.

  1. I haven't seen too many contractors using light rail or bicycle to get around lately. I guess his tools are in the backpack.

  3. It is very worrying how much of this we are seeing everywhere.

  4. I think he's going to need a better sales-pitch or he'll remain homeless a litttle longer. Sad but true.

  5. Another sad reflection on the times, I agree.

  6. A novel way to advertise one's talents. From the stance and demeanor of most of the riders, he's not getting much attention. Hope he has better luck getting business!

  7. He's such a young man...these are hard times. My heart goes out to people, but my head says "beware". Isn't that a sad commentary on the human condition?

  8. No matter what the 'remodel' concept might be, the truth is I've never seen such a sign and it makes me think of the hard times we are living and the hard times yet to come. Are you aware of the Euro crisis, Sharon? Europe is a big mess now!

  9. This picture tells a bigger story for sure.

  10. He probably has an interesting story to tell. Hopefully things will work out for him and the many others in his same situation.

  11. You have to admire him for trying, he just may get lucky!

  12. Reminds me of several bad jokes. Got to give the guy credit for trying, though. And who knows, maybe he's a good handyman?

I've not seen "light rail" in Phoenix so that interested me. And it looks fairly cool what with all the jackets.

  14. So he is looking for a home and will remodel it too. Interesting. The times are tough.

  15. I don't like to be cynical, but I guess these are the times we live in. I don't see this approach working for the young man. Maybe it is a sociology experiment?

  16. I thought the same when I read "remodel," Sharon. How sad :( I really hope he can find some work soon.

  17. Any means to advertise is good when one's plate is empty.
