Lemon Beebalm
I love this flower called Lemon Beebalm. It’s such a cheerful flower. I also love the way the background in this photo appears to be in motion. I have no idea how I did that.
This looks like a photo where you move the camera at the same speed to capture a moving object, like a runner or a train, to keep it in focus and blur the background, but obviously that did not occur with a flower.
it is a super effect.

ReplyDeleteIt has to do with F stops (or so I've learned in photography class!). It's gorgeous. I think you should frame this one.
ReplyDeleteI saw the picture and I was asking myself, "how did she do that background?" But you don't know! :( Great shot anyway!
ReplyDeleteI don't know enough about the technical aspects of photography to figure out what happened, but it was a fortunate occurrence.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe name is joyful also. Reminds me of my lilacs, which I chose because of their very deep purple blossoms.
ReplyDeleteSounds like it should be a soothing herb. Like the shot!
ReplyDeleteThis is supposed to be a favorite of hummingbirds. It's purple! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the happy effect of your photo.
Wow that is beautiful. I don't think I ever saw one.
ReplyDeleteI love beebalm, also known as Monarda.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful flower and I love the background too.
