Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
I award you a blue ribbon (and you know how much clout that carries!) for this shout! I love it. It has a lot of edginess!
Make that shot instead of shout. I guess I'm just in a rhyming mood today!
Wonderfully composed shot, Sharon!
You have interpreted the "edge" theme and applied it to Phoenix on a macro level. Julie did so on micro level. Great view and insertion of an architectural edge.
Super shot, Sharon so thank you for sharing! It really is rather incredible. What a valley packed with people and houses and stores and ...
How absolutely spectacular Sharon! That shot certainly gives a good idea of your city and fits the theme really well.
excellent choice. you hiked up a ways I see
Interesting shot, angle or 'edge'. MB
Re your question on Ocala: I really have no idea about the "silo." But I think I'll try to find out.
I love this spot!
Great edgy shot. :) Have a wonderful weekend!
Wow! Now that's an edge!
That's some shot, Sharon showing the foreground and background so wonderfully. Indeed it is looking over the edge. Super for today, super for any day!
Wohoo, that is fantastic!!!
Fabulous shot Sharon! What a view!
Terrific shot, Sharon. In a funny way, the stones in the structure echo the buildings way below.
Fantastic! What a gorgeous view!
Phoenix amazes me. All that sprawl, flatness, heat and sun. This is a very good depiction.
That is how I think of edges!!!
Fantastic photo. I love panoramas.
This shot is really unusual. It's interesting that my eye is drawn to the distant city and the ribbon highway (?) rather than the foreground.
