As soon as I saw your photo I recognized it as the amazing sky during our art group get together last Friday, even before I recognized the palm trees and Chilean mesquite tree as the view west from our back yard.
I suspect that the jets who left these contrails were heading towards Luke Air Force Base, which is located about 40 miles west of us. The contrails are converging in that direction.
Wow, so many jets passing by.
