Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
Fantastic!I can't see the photo, but clicked on the dot and it shows, just like what happened on my blog yesterday. Blogger is crazier and crazier!
I've reposted the photo and now it appears but, the photo looks a little distorted to me. Sorry, not sure what is wrong.
If distorted, Sharon, it remains interesting. I like the colour tones.
The photo looks good to me. I like the reddish color and light on the spikes.
That's amazing. It looks nothing like what it's going to end up...couldn't come up with a good way to word that. But what an unusual look it has! Go macro!
So intricate--have never seen this up close.
Like all babies, cute. But in a little while it will be nice and green and sharp.
Wow that photo is amazing. So crisp and rich with color.
The pic looks great to me. The thorns look scary even though they are babies!
Is this the cactus that sticks you and then swells up inside your skin? I always thought that was something that was an evolutionary mistake! Pretty, though!
Yikes looks like a space creature
Neither do I see any distortion, but then again, I haven't seen the original photo. I love this shot - very intriguing!
I have seen many of this cactus but never a new pad and this close, very interesting. I like it.
It looks good in a close-up.
Nice job! Great color and shape.
Ouch! I've never seen anything quite like it.Thanks for dropping by Eucalypt Habitat, Sharon.
The thorns actually look quite soft! They also have beautiful pastel colors... so very delicate.
