Birdsong

This fellow was singing rather loudly when I passed under the tree.  I thought he deserved a moment of Blogosphere fame.

  2. Old Chinese proverb: Be wary of idling under tree where bird is singing.

  3. I think he was singing because he is glad that he lives in Arizona at this time of year.

  4. Don't ever take for granted the beauty of birdsong. It is the sound that brings tears of joy to my eyes when winter starts to lose its grip and spring is waiting around the corner. Through the long white winter it is rare, rare, rare to hear the song of a bird. I love looking at yours and imagining.

  8. Like brattcat, I love the sound of birds in my yard. I love to wake up to the song of a mocking bird. (still hanging around, but not singing yet). I don't know what bird this is though. I thought it was a grackle but it doesn't look quite right.

  9. I love the song of birds also. They always put a smile on my face. And I get lost in the moment of trying to locate the singer. I believe this is a Curve Billed Thrasher.
