Longer shadows on shorter days. The sun is just a couple of weeks past setting in the due west, and with the streets of Phoenix laid out in a grid going East-West and North-South, there are long shadows running down the East-West streets. Even the side view mirrors of my car cast a pair of long shadows.
I like the composition. The days are so short, too(
